TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
